IMPULSE was first held in 2004 as an intra college event and in 2005 as an inter college technical fest. Within a span of 4 years IMPULSE has become a big technical fest which witnesses huge participation from all technical colleges.
Impulse'09 was a huge success with a footfall of about 3000 students from all the parts of the country. The fest also saw introductions of some new and innovative events like TEchRoadies, Project a picture, line follower and many more.

Here's a sneak peak into the minds of the organisers of Impulse'09.

"Working in the core team of Impulse'09 was a great experience. I learned a lot about event planning and teamwork.Impulse is actually a blast furnance where you go in completely unprocessed with hardly any experience. The moment you go in there's rush, there are deadlines, there events to be organised and there are your studies too. But when you come out of it, you are a new person all in all. You learn to handle situations in a much better way and most importantly gain the qualitites of a true leader. You learn about team work and have fun too. So to sum up, Impulse is not work, not a process but the world in itself."
